At the start, the carpets from the Beni Ouarain tribe were only meant to be collective beds. Nowadays they have become important items in terms of decoration. They are easily adaptable to any type of room style. They are woven by hand by Berber women from tiny villages from the Middle Atlas using wool of high quality to fulfill ancestral tradition. They often showcase real simple traditional minimalist motifs most often black or brown on a white or creamy background. The diamond-shaped motifs on this rug are luxurious and large, the braided dark tassels bring an added coziness and classy look to the rug.
